Dr. Don Wilson
Dr. Don Wilson is a member of the Heiltsuk Nation from the North-Central coast of British Columbia. His First Nations ancestry also includes connections with the Haisla and Kitasoo tribes on the British Columbia coast. He is currently practicing general Obstetrics and Gynecology in Comox, British Columbia, on Vancouver Island. Dr. Wilson completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing prior to medical school, and subsequently practiced as a nurse for five years. Dr. Wilson completed his medical degree as well as residency in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of Calgary, completing his training in 2006. Dr. Wilson has four children who keep life very interesting outside of his professional commitments.
